About

Daniel Lee

Attorney. Husband. Father. Fort Bend neighbor.

Daniel Lee

Daniel Lee was born and raised in Texas. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin, where he worked for Texas House members at the Capitol organizing bills and answering constituents. He went on to earn his law degree from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University.

For more than 18 years Daniel has practiced family and civil law, advocating for his neighbors in Katy, Richmond, Pecan Grove and Houston. He and his wife Vanessa raised their children (Kayla, Kolton and Ithica) through Fort Bend County public schools, where Daniel has served on a PTSA board. The household also includes four cats and a dog named Katinka.

Daniel learned the value of hard work in his parents' restaurant and real estate firm. His first job was as a line cook during his senior year. His mother's advice still guides him: "Always finish what you start."

"Community ties transcend party barriers. During Harvey and Beryl our neighbors came together, helping each other through the hard times."
